Plenesys is based in Sophia-Antipolis, France (near Nice).

Description of the position

Within our team you contribute to the technical development of our plasma products and hydrogen production process.

Within the framework of this position, your missions could concern one or all of the following:

  • Elaboration of P&ID, PFD,
  • Carrying out pre-design, sizing, and cost studies,
  • Thermodynamic simulations and sizing of equipment,
  • Listing of equipment and equipment data sheet,
  • Detailed HAZOP/HAZID and cause/effects matrices,
  • Purchasing and exchanging with suppliers,
  • Participating to the elaboration of the 3D layouts of the processes
  • Participating to the experimental campaigns
  • Quality control and standard conformity checking,
  • Writing reports and calculation notes,
  • Writing certification reports,
  • Writing funding proposals,
  • May include CFD simulation.

You have 5/8 years of higher education: engineer or equivalent or PhD. You have a minimum of experience in similar positions or through relevant internships.

Required soft skills:

  • A good level of English,
  • Excellent quality of report writing,
  • Rigorous work and attention to details,
  • Autonomous and good team working skills.

Required technical skills:

  • Experience and/or knowledge on hydrogen standards,
  • Diploma in process engineering or equivalent,
  • Experience in funding proposals writing,
  • Strong knowledge in fluid dynamics, heat transfer and thermodynamics,
  • Knowledge of experimental measurements and industrial standards.

The position may require travel in France and abroad.

Contract and salary

Contract: open-ended contract.
French SYNTEC collective agreement.
Salary to be determined according to skills and experience.
